Ingredients for making idly batter:
rice- 2 cups
urid gram- 1/2 cup
cooked rice - 1/4 cup
methi- 1/4 teaspoon
Carrots and beans(cut into small pieces) 1 cup
Shelled green peas(optional) 1/2 cup

Paneer(Cottage cheese) 1/2 cup
method:
wash and soak rice and urid dal together with methi for 1 to 2 hours.
grind it with cooked rice.
transfer to a bowl mix required salt and leave it for 8 hours to ferment.
Wash and cut beans and carrots.
Wash peas.
Heat 1/2 spoon oil, fry the vegetables and paneer,add them to the batter.
Heat the idly cooker with required water.
Fill the idly plates with required batter and stem them for 10 minutes.
Here.. Your, Paneer vegetable idlys are ready.
Serve them with pudhina ( mint) chutney.
